NEW! ‘Sustainable Living' Series - Fruit tree grafting demo and seed starting class!

NEW!! SUSTAINABLE LIVING SERIES
Sunday June 9th from 2:00–4:00PM

Please join us for the first in our 'Sustainable Living Series', where John Keeton will teach the basics of seed starting (yes! you can still start seeds!), planting techniques and succession planting . He will also talk about the importance of seed saving. John will also give us a glimpse into the fascinating world of fruit tree grafting, along with a demo.

John Keeton is a lifelong farmer whose deep passion for gardening, farming and plants served him well during his 30-year career with Cornell University at the Experimental Station in Geneva. John and his wife Cherith currently steward 19 acres where they grow mushrooms, tomatoes, flowers, garlic and more.  It is John’s passion to assist others to learn how to grow their own food as a step toward self-reliance and food sovereignty.

COST: There is no charge for this workshop; your generous donations will be used to support the continuation of this series, including a hands-on grafting class later in the year.

RSVP: to assure that there are enough supplies, please RSVP with Mirabai Marquardt: mirabaiwellness@gmail.com; 585.330.9367.
