Please gather with us on the first day of the new year as we explore the words of the Lord's Prayer in Aramaic - the language that Jesus (Yeshua) spoke. The translations directly from Aramaic into English offer a deeper, broader, mystical experience of the prayer which many know as the 'Our Father'.

Nothing brings a community together like music! Barnstock is in its 5th year, and it keeps getting better and better. Please join us and our talented musicians who are donating their time and talent to make this a magical day.

A donation of $20 is suggested to show our gratitude to the wonderful musicians who are donating both time and talent.

Bob and Shannon added a September weekend of events in Buffalo/Rochester following their summer tour to celebrate the release of Bob’s 10th Album New Levels New Devils. Bob has won numerous songwriting awards and grazes nearly every musical genre with consistent spiritually-intelligent lyrics throughout. Expect an evening of entertainment, enlightenment, and knowing that you will leave with a gift in your heart. No one leaves untouched by this musical experience. Join us for an evening of conversation and connection.

This weekend of events is quite a magical orchestration. Bob was added into a WhatsApp group chat where he was encouraged to introduce himself and his music. Another member of the group, Bani Aello, deeply connected to the lyrics and drove herself with three of her friends to our events in Albany in July. From that short 24 hours of experiencing a concert, a message, and a workshop, their wheels began spinning on how to share us with their Rochester communities.

Hu Dost Returns!

Gongs, singing bowls, and chimes will relax and sooth your entire being at this Sound Journey. Bring your mat, blanket, pillows and whatever you like to be comfortable while the celestial sounds of sacred instruments take you on an inner flight of deep relaxation.

There is no experience necessary to explore the magic of drumming! Feel free to bring your own drum or percussion, or experiment with the many instruments we will have available, including the Bhakti Barn Mother Drum! Light refreshments will be servied afterward; feel free to bring a snack to share.

The Dances of Universal Peace are a spiritual practice that employs singing and dancing the sacred phrases of the world's religions. Their intention is to raise consciousness and promote peace between diverse religions.

The (optional) community potuck will begin at 5PM. Please bring a dish to pass, plate and cutlery, and an open heart! Beverages will be provided. The Dances will commence around 6:00-6:30.

Death Cafes are gatherings held all over the world for the purpose of bringing death out of the taboo closet.. The cafes give people a chance to talk about this most important topic that every one of us will at some time experience.

Join John Keeton, a lifelong farmer and gardener with 30 years of experience at Cornell University at the Experimental Station in Geneva, for a fascinating demo on grafting fruit trees, along with a mini-workshop on seed starting, succession planting and seed saving.

We are people, ages 18 to 95, looking for a personal connection to the Divine - one free from rules and formal religion. We want a sense of community, more joy in our lives, and wish to be of service during this time of radical change onour planet.

We will be stirring up the energy, laughing, cleaning, singing, rearranging, decorating - and then, CELEBRATING WITH A BLESSING CEREMONY AND MEAL.

Please wear your work duds, and bring work gloves if you have them! Buckets? Brooms? All welcome. And, a dish to pass! We'll work until we're ready for a break, then move into a Blessing Ceremony - poems, song, and holding intentions for the 2024 season of the Bhakti Barn. Finally, we will enjoy a community meal together.
